Used marketing and operations experience to improve hospitality workflow, solve problems, and aid in team development in high-stress environment. Roles included:


head hostess

-created positive front of house experience for guests, including to-go orders, reservation management, and aiding with special events

-helped manage team of 4-8 hostesses

-created training materials that were later implemented across all Whiskey Cake restaurants

-oversaw continued accomplishment of Front of House tasks and policy adherence

-set short-term and long-term goals for hospitality team

-collaborated with management to gauge restaurant capacity and reservation limits for holidays and high volume shifts

-beta-tested floor training certification, including 20 hours of cross-department education, for program later implemented across entire company
